Most people don’t give it a second though about placing their beverage of choice in the convenient cup holder. Since I’ve adapted to the right-handed world, I really thought much of it myself. But it wasn’t until I noticed that I was picking my beverage up with my right hand, switching the beverage to my left hand, taking a drink, switching it back to my right hand and finally placing it back down in the holder. Now that isn’t a very efficient use of my time.
